              Finally the much awaited moment came. The slum dog bagged 8 Oscar including best movie and best director award. The first time in Indian movie history, two Indians have won academy awards. Thanks to A R Rahman and russel pookutty, you guys made the 100 crore Indians proud .Especially I just loved the russel pookuttys thanks giving speech. Here is the thanks giving message he delivered after receiving the award

   “This is unbelievable. We can’t believe this. Ladies and gentlemen… sorry… I share the stage with two magicians, you know, who created the very ordinary sounds of Bombay, the cacophony of Bombay, into a soul-stirring, artful resonance called Slumdog Millionaire.I come from a country and a civilization that given the universal word.That word is preceded by silence, followed by more silence. That word is ‘Om.‘ So I dedicate this award to my country. Thank you, Academy, this is not just a sound award, this is history being handed over to me. My sincere and deepest gratitude to my teachers, Danny Boyle, Christian Colson, Paul Ritchie….. and everybody who has contributed to this film, Glenn Freemantle and all the sound mixers. I dedicate this to you guys. Thank you, Academy. Thank you very much.”

                     Hopefully in future many meaningful movies like this will come from bollywood .instead of triangular love stories and B grade comedy movies. It was the movie who hooked us to the seat for 2 hours. I haven’t seen a movie in my life with such a perfect editing.’As a Indian’ the only thing I didn’t like this movie was the way they showed India (again as a ‘Indian’).But love the way how they made this simple theme in such a beautiful way Anyways this is the movie which we can’t categorize to a certain genre. It is a thriller, love story and drama. I would like to define this movie like, a simple lovable movie which showed a lot of unusual things in simple beautiful way .Anyways thanks to Danny Boyle and Christian Colson for creating such a masterpiece. Let’s hop in future they will come up with more outstanding products. Finally I just wanna summaries this article by saying ‘jai ho’ to all the ‘Slum dogs’ team.
