Stay away from MLM’s like Quest International

For a Long time, I want to write something about pyramid scheme aka MLM schams like gold quest , quest international etc.Two days back while i’m going back home by bus, two of the guys were discussing abt quest. The first guy was trying to convince the second guy by telling the fortunes tht gonna come in his life .Seems the poor guy was very much convinced.I felt so sorry abt him.So that i decided i should write about these scam in my blog, So that atleast some of them will escape from these kind of cheaters and save there hard earned money for something usefull.
During past few years, I’ve come across several Multi level marketing companies like ammway,modicare,japan-korea mattress, quest international,Gold quest etc.Except ammway most of these companies end up in pathtic lose or baned by govermnet or court(by recording them as cheaters).Even i was approached by few of these companies and i attended some of there seminars too(for the sake of some of my closefriends).
I was quite surprised when i got a call from this so called friend nearly after 4 years. After a couple of minutes of personal enquiries ,he directly came to the point.I still rember he was telling me ,itz like he is gonna present a Benz car to me…and next ten minutes he was telling abt the fortunes , money , fame thtz gonna happen in coming days in my life.Like he is gonna make me as his business partner(it happend all most 1 and half year back). So 2 have a look at wht it is,next day i attended the seminar. There was a big crowd were there. Most of the guys were between 22-26 years old and seems majority of them were working in software -finance based companies.Strangely i noticed a kinda worried look(like as if they are fallen into some pit) in most of the voluntiers(those who enroled already). Then the so called seminar started.Thepresentation guy started comparing his company with multinational companie’s like pepsi,BMW and how his company is difffrent from other fraud network based businesses.Literaly wht he was doing were, trying to pull all of the poor guyz sitting there into a fantacy world of power money etc by just investing minimumof RS.30,000 and was brilliantly covering all the flaws of this business.
My friend was desperately trying to enroll me that moment itself and he were not even letting me to think abt that.He even told he will invest 30,000 rupees for me, just give me personal details. But i merely escaped. The guy who took the seminar were keep on telling tat don’t diclose this to your close friends ,guides and wellwishers .( Why ? - SO That you will get isolated from them because they know that they(relatives) will bring you back from the fantacy word and if a normal guy think abt this thing for atleast 2 hour , he will come to know itz a big time fraud. That day i was getting a lot of calls often(even from the guys i haven’t seen even a single time).I told this thing to my da.He explained everything behind this to me and finally he added , if u work hard at the maximum u can get back your invested money, thatz it.So tht night i switched of my cell and thought abt this for almost one hour and i understood that this is not gonna work out and if i’m gonna invest , i will be ending up as a sore looser. So next day when he called up , i openly told him i’m not intrested. After almost 1 hour i strated getting lot of calls frm his friends and seniors.First they were trying 2 convinse me and trying 2 drag me into this crap like a octopus. But i politily refused it.Finally they started thrittening and make fun of me (18 the step 2 convinse me)by telling, if u r not gonna join this u will be a sore looser something like tht….by hearing this i started laughing like anything….(.He don’t know that not all in the world are fools like him and just doing this crap he is gonna achive everything..very very funny hehehe). Finally after this i called up my freind and told him if you wanna discuss abt this don’t call me again and bother me and don’t give my number to anyone. The story got over like this.
Nearly after 6 months , one day morning i spotted a news in the nespaper that this so called business got banned by government and all the top officials of this business got arrested and also chennai city police commisoner got around 40,000 complaints abt this(seems it was the first time in the history of chennai poilice , they got this much complaint abt a single case).
I’m summarising this topic by telling what this business is gonna do to you(if you join it)
1.You will end up in screwing up or loosing the relationship with your closer one(your agents will force you to join them also into this)
2.you will end up in loosing your hard earned money by day dreaming
3.The product they are selling is actually atleast 10 times costlier than there actual price(eg: do u think a 1 gram(hardly) gold coin cost 30,000 rupees?).In fact you can get better product in market 4 a more reasonable rate
4.You will end up in becoming a chain of this fraud
5. No one gives anything for free or at a loss…..not even fools…..
PS : Fast money will never stand and also there is no short cut for success

Your article is very good but I think the facts you presented only covers GOLDQUEST and nothing on QUEST INTERNATIONAL, would you elaborate what you have against Quest International which sells holiday packages, medical items and many products?

Just joined a company with same guy , and if you are only as good as the last thing you did, I really need to speak to someone about this. I also am very close to this person. So we can maybe do the right thing, because it looks like someone getting ready for the last one, and he or she is going to burn everybody! and I thing my good friend who I basically let him know that if this was bullshit, That I cant afford to go into it. Oh and my name is Robert and This gets big< so I was compromised already email wise, Well might as well whats the diff now lol, please do not post this though, I just want to talk to a guru n the subject, and I am rarely boring with info. So We might be meant to speak trust me, Its taken me days to get this info! not on you guys

Though its late I should tell the truth. TRUTH can not be hidden at any time any place.
I worked with QI, I mean member of QI sales family for selling numismatic products of different countries. To be honest, I spend my valuable time to do brain washes of my closest friends multiple times. I conducted joined classes to make people join in the QI product sale. This was because of getting a regular return( hopes) ( as QI assures—or may be they gave to some of the members). Very sad and un happy to say that, for whom I have done effort to join were not at all happy because , they never achieve they way we gave them hopes.. To be very honest , I did not get my money invested even after spending 500 plus hours of brain stoming people.. Instead I find lot of unhappy friends..
So.. who ever read this words.. Please spread mouth to mouth to be mindful of multilevel marketing dis advantages. LOt of educated dogs are doing this business, utilizing the personal capabilities to fool the society.
Usually plan is to make a big dream for the koiners.., and then assure the full support until we get some people under them… and finally once joined initail “show ” off support giving is a usual tactics…
any way lost is lost.. it was a good experiance that made me more stronger to face such people approching to begin their classes.. Good to listen the way they approch.. now a days.. i listen to them and at last I tells them that I am an experiance ,man in their business..
cherers,
V J

Qnet is back again. Its QI in a new avatar. The business model is the same. The only way to make money is to recruit more people to the “business”. The idea remains the same. You recruit people, you get a cut out of what they pay. When those you recruit, recruit others, you get a cut out of what they pay too. Thus it becomes a pyramid chain on top of which you sit. Of course, you, yourself are a part of a bigger pyramid on top of which Chidambram’s wife might be sitting. The only way to recover your initial investment is by recruiting at least 10 people yourself. Now to convince 10 people to invest that kind of money, you need to speak to at least a 100 (assuming 10% bite) people. Now, if you are a normal person, it is unlikely that you can talk to a 100 people unless they are friends, family, colleagues. Imagine pestering all the people you know well and who possibly care about you to invest in this get-rick-quick scheme.
As time goes by and there is a lot of negative publicity surrounding Qnet, it becomes harder and harder to recruit “partners” to the business. You call up old friends, classmates, anyone doing a business, any one looking to earn that extra something. You need to invest a lot of time and money to recruit more people. The more time and money you invest, the more the number of people you need to recruit to break-even.
Eventually, the only people who really make a lot of money are the original founders of the pyramid scheme and everybody else simply works to make them more money.
